Despite the much lower temperature compared to halogen lamps, temperature management of the electronics in the LED lamp is essential for a long life. Because these bulbs are designed to outlast the life of the car, our LED bulbs have dual alloy and an electronic fan to keep the electronics and LED chips cool.

Designed according to PIAA-Japan's strict manufacturing standards, the LED range uses several technologically innovative components to achieve the best possible light: a special heat management system includes a cooling fan to maximize heat resistance; Anti-Flash pulse control units ensure bright beam consistency; and a rugged housing protects against vibration damage up to 10G and some potentially damaging weather conditions.

Other such bespoke compositional features include a precisely aligned 0.9mm ultra-thin PCB and LED chip - an essential feature to enable maximum LED light output when dealing with factory fitted halogen headlamps. The dramatically increased light output of the PIAA LED is also characterized by a color temperature of 6000K, which provides a sensitive light color that closely matches daylight, keeping you alert and at ease behind the wheel at night.
